Composition – Wonderful play with positive and negative space. Like most of Kharmazero’s designs, it is composed of simple dark or negative space against a wash of exciting color as the positive space. I love that this designer is not afraid of stark contrast and he utilizes it wonderfully.

Color – The contrasting light and dark colors nicely develop the design. The radiating reds, yellows, and oranges create an attractive field for the dark city landscape.

Lines & Forms – What a beauty! This designer’s female figures are breathtakingly gorgeous with an easily recognizable style. I love the thick wavy strips of hair. His typical big eyed beauties never fail to impress. I absolutely love the thick outlines and waving banners giving his designs a tattoo style appearance. As a part-time body piercer at a tattoo shop, I encounter this style on a regular basis. His lines, drawings, and sketches, which he frequently shares on Facebook, are just a beautiful!

Color – The wonderful shading technique nicely develops the forms and thus very little color is necessary.

A great day for Alice in Wonderland!

Color Scheme – I love the warm colors in contrast with the cool blues and grays of the leaves on the navy blue background. Although there are warm and cool colors, they seem to harmonize well.

Typography – Wonderful looping script type. It nicely weaves through the field of flowers. It boldly serves at the main component in this design.

Composition – The typography slants across the field leading the eye through the flowers. The little Alice figure in the bottom right corner is nicely balanced with the smaller type in the top left corner.

Also, I love the little branches with buds which add decoration to the flowers. Can you spot the hidden white rabbit? Too cute!

Lines and Forms – Barbara Gordon is ready to BATter up! Wonderful thick line work. The thiner lines within the figure add a wonderful rough texture.

Composition – I really enjoy the simple composition of all the lovely girls in this series. The figures are all in varying sitting poses on a simple stamped background.

Color – The varying purples, cool grays, and golds work wonderfully together. I don’t usually rock purple. I believe I only have one purple tee shirt, so I might just have to buy this one!
