Concept – Wonderful mash-up of the Hot Wheels toy cars with the Delorean from Back to the Future.

Composition – I really enjoy the combination of the well rendered vehicle with the altered Hot Wheels logo. The motion conveyed by the shape of the banner with flames describes the speed of this infamous time traveling machine.

Texture – Wonderful hatching used to articulate the wiry wolf fur. The short thin strokes also create nice complexity in the design.

Color – The different shades of gray nicely describe the shape of the wolf head. The textures also create wonderful variations of color by using different stroke lengths.

Color – I really enjoy the contrast and transition of the warm oranges and yellows in the bottom to the cool blues and grays in the top of the design.

Good and evil. Light and dark. Positive and negative. Day and night. Any of these dichotomies could describe the relationship between adoptive brothers Thor and Loki. I present this conflict today in the form of two designs.

It’s not hard to imagine Loki embracing his power and status among the ancient civilizations is it? With that charm, wit, and cunning one couldn’t help but feel the presence of a god.

Composition – Bold, well-balanced render of this God of Mischief.

Texture – I love the repeated horizontal lines in this design creating dynamic patterns. The small intricate lines create a variety of textures throughout the design. I especially enjoy the circular lines in the horns.

Concept – Interesting pun cleanly executed. I really enjoy the well expressed beet figure based on the Beats logo.

Typography – The nice rounded letter forms are very similar to the Beats type and works very nice with the rest of the design. It blends so well it almost requires a second look.

This dark mistress’ face looks positively angelic! I keep trying to buy this wonder artist’s original pieces but I am always too late! It’s okay. I’ll just keep buying her shirts!

Color – Wonderful greens and purples on the rich black. I really enjoy the pop of the red-purple collar plumage in contrast to the blue-green of her luminous skin. Her skin highlights sing.

Lines and Forms – Gorgeous, seductive face. Wonderful amount of details to her ornate headdress and jewelry. Interesting Baroque style background. It’s nicely simple so as to not distract from the foreground.

Texture – Nice shiny gloss texture. Her outfit and head gear looks smooth and shiny like black leather. I really enjoy how her trusty crow hides in the darkness as the highlights reveal its textured feathers.
