No one does fireworks quite like Gandalf! Just keep an eye on Merry and Pippin, there hasn’t been a dragon in these parts for ages… This design has an old-time etching style. The composition is bilaterally balanced and is visually interesting. I enjoy the texture and the different typographic elements. The flat light blue -gray color on the dark indigo background  creates a nice contrast.

This moth/bee provides the honey Heisenberg uses to sweeten his cooks. The design is composed from simple outlines. Wonderful thick to thin ratio of line width to create overall color. The basic geometry is nicely balanced. The large circular seal overhead anchors the design and repeats and relates to the circles within the insect.

“Where’s Esteban? Esteban was eaten! He was bitten? Eaten! [pause] He was swallowed whole? No! Chewed!” Stevie is out for revenge on his steamboat after the death of his friend Esteban and he’s packing’ dynamite. Super cute design referencing a movie I absolutely love! Nice big cartoon eyes along with thin Mickey Mouse limbs and big round shoes behind an enlarged ship’s wheel. Pleasant, calm, nautical color scheme.
