Color – The color in the design really helps stabilize and adds visual interest. Since the Big Daddy looks visually heavy in black, the brighter colors on the left side help balance his body on the right.

Texture – I really enjoy the texture in this design. The chalk pastel style gives it rich complexity. The feathered lines look quick and distressed which contrasts nicely with the bright looks.

Composition – The large-scale of the Big Daddy figure dominates the design. Although the Little Sister is much smaller, the composition is stabilized by the Big Daddy’s pose. He is leaning over towards her, creating a continuous, implied arch line from his headgear to her little form and bright dress.

This wise little guy looks like he is radiating the force.

Composition – Wonderful haloing effect around a well-rendered Yoda. The position of his upward-lifting head suggests he is calm and at peace. The top radiation pattern is nicely balanced with the smaller bottom radiating pattern.

Lines – I really enjoy the radiating lines created by the thin triangle and circle patterns. The pattern is wonderfully geometric and creates a great complex background.
